vw golf mk2 GT

hello, wanting to know if there is any mk2 GT's out there or if im the only one?
i have one that i want to put up for sale within the next 2 months, basically redone, but still body marks like a few dents and scratyches but inside has been redone, new seals and alot of other stuff is coming in soon to fully finish up the car.
car will come with MK2 gti seats and upgraded front Mk2 GTi brakes.
its the 1.6l carby and has alot of power (only single carby) 75hp/55kw and no aircon or any luxuries and no power steering.
16" low profile Advanti rims and lowered with GTi suspension 60mmf/60mmr
Also its a 1985 model and has only done 130tkm.
anyone think its worth it to sell it?

Oh and are you being serious about the "a LOT of power"?

yeah have pictures but not on me at the moment
also alot of power doesent have to mean 100+hp but it has alot of pull. surprising for the 1.6l
well compared to the pulsars and corollas i have seen and driven.
but yeah just wondering how much they would go for.
with australian service history etc.
Engine code is EZ.
Non CAT sports exhaust.
So no1 knows of the GT's here in australia????????

Where did you get the Mk2 GT from may I ask ?
I know a guy in vwvortex aus had one, yours could be the one from him if there is only one in aus.
How "far away" is your location actually

honestly depending on the condition you probably wont get more than 3k for it unfortunately.

well thing looks cool and drives awesome for what it is, a huge diff from the gti's
well far away is sydney..... but i guess alot of people on here are either from sydney or melbourne.
well when the car is finished and done up i will put it on here and sell it.
but surprised to hear there isnt alot of them here in australia.

no i wont use this forum to sell my car just asking about it then maby selling it.
i also have a mk2 gti set up for race etc.
just dont need any help with the gti just the gt maby.

i knew someone is asking bout my gti one day.
nearly finished built.
just getting the shell done painted in matallic black
engine:
bigger fuel injectors from g60 incl chip for digifant
head is ported incl bigger valves, compression 11.5:1
custom exhaust with 100cell CAT
lightened flywheel
still 1,8l tho
full setup with intake, all smoothened and reworked
audi RS2 pistons and h-shaft
g60 crankshaft
272 cam
front brakes: 298mm brembo GT Kit
rear brakes: 255mm ...... (dont remember brand) but taken out of a racing built golf)
Coil over suspensions (not hardness adjustable, have to take out for that)

It is staying with the aircon tho, just because its so hot in this country

when i get off my p-plates the supercharger kit comes on with custom built gearbox which will make it a RWD!!!
but that is still planned in the next 2 years
dont hate me for being p-plate driver.
I dont break the law, i have learnt from my mistakes

haha, thats all fine i lost my licence too same car but when it was a stock gti with 121hp. got caught doin 165kmh on hume hwy back from canberra on summernats.
so alot of people judge me badly now.
haha
but god damn the gti is gonna b one sexy car.
but its on hold for 5 months because of money hassles and moving jobs and houses.
otherwise all good
