I have a rough idle where the motor revs the car kinda high to compensate.
After searching and asking around the ISV seems to be the problem.
But it was pointed out to me that the vacuum hose from the ISV to the Manifold can wear out and collapse under the vacuum pressure.
My rubber hose has done exactly this. It is closed up in the middle.
It's not the main hose it self but the corner piece at the ISV end.
Has anyone found a replacement part or got one from Clark rubber etc?
The hard part is that the hose pipe has different diameter ends.
My other idea was to put some re-enforcing inside the hose to keep it open, e.g. pvc, the pipe doesn't actually have a crack in it
Cheers
