    My question is, can u fit a VR6 into a golf Mk1??

        I heard tell of one in Sydney too, but it could be an urban myth.

                  there is one on Awesomegti.co.uk. Or was. Vr6 in a creamy/orange Mk1. Apparently the thing just kept on wheel spinning. as you can imagine

                      would be a giggle a minute i reckon.
                      this is the one i have heard most about.

                      There is a fair bit of fabrication involved but its not really rocket science.

                        i've seen a few internet examples of vr6's in mk1's...

                        the best i saw was a uk example.... little blue 2 door with a vr6 twin turbo and NOS...

                        never say never!
