haha got ya attention now help me...
    my problem
when box is attached to the block and the main 3 box bolts are put in. my clucth is not dissengaging as the clutch cable lever will go half way up and stop.... basically the clutch rod wont push the release plate it seems to get there and just stop, ive bought as new full complete clutch and newish box so im rulling them out. new clutch cable, im 100% sure i got the friction **** centred..... might be pressure plate to tight?
the engine is new and has been running in car befor, havnt driven it since new clutch and new box
my previous attempt resulted in being able to start engine but not select any gears..
has any body exprienced this or know what my problems are other than im a crappy mechanic for not finding whats wrong.........
    LET ME BLOODY KNOW
    i bet its simple

Tighten up your clutch cable to the max, use a wheelnut or similar spacer ( for testing purposes ). get the proper rubber washer eventually

You should push the arm up till you feel pressure, then tighten the cable.
Have a few goes and you may need to tighten again.

Hope that helps, sounds like you`ll be rolling soon.

if your trying to operate the clutch lever with your hand... it wont work... you'll just have movement until it takes up slack, and it'll feel solid... i had the same scare when i changed my clutch too...

as loon said, tighten your clutch cable and only use the pedal for testing
