    Looks mint mate! Nice find. Perfect as a base for a project car (i.e. no rust)

      Nice score, looks good in the pics.

      Manual conversion is easy and the car is still original IMO.

            What an immaculate Mk1, I'm really jealous, even the chrome strips around the windows look new. Keep it garaged though as the early metallic paint didn't last long. You really need to dump the auto. If it was me, I would do a 1.8 or 2.0 8v 5 speed conversion. It will still look stock under the bonnet but would go a lot better, and then you need wheels, lower it a bit etc etc.
