Made some good progress this weekend.
Fusebox re-installed, dash wired(mosly), heater & blower re-built and power (cautiously) applied - No Smoke!!! just glowie goodness. I tested all the circuits I could, even accidentally cranked her over (did you know a 'gator clip lead could carry enough current to do that??)

Some cleaning up to do still but very happy

Haha, i was starting and running my golf for a week or so like that when my ignition barrel carked it. Works great!

Spectator info here. Plus I am trying to get some of the troops together on Friday arvo to give Marius a proper send-off. The official launch of the rally is i the centre of town from 3:00pm with the first car over the ramp at 6:00pm ish.
See you there - but Kelly and I will be leaving early since the next morning we have to be at our meet-point for SS1 at 4:00AM

Damn! I really wanted to get some noise this weekend. But with the rally only a week away, my time seemed to evaporate.....
But all the cooling system is back together, heater is in etc. I just didn't get the ignition system done in time (dark, cold Canberra evening.. brrrrrr)
