      The MK1 doesn't have a computer.

The KR engined MK2s do have one for the ignition only. KE motronic 9A engined Passats and Corrados have a proper ECU which has lambda control and can alter the mixture.

K-Jet rocks, but I would price all the bits you need and compare it to something like Motronic or other aftermarket bits. The new computerised systems are far more efficient, and can get bigger hp gains. I would go Motech if I didnt care about originality.... i love the K-Jet in my Mk2 8V, though...
        Euro look 2... Mk2 love!

I'm running CIS in my mk2, and like stated before the fuel pumps can be a problem, they run 2.......one in tank and one main.
ive herd not to let them run into the red mark on the guage because over time it can stuff the in tank pump, an apparently when that goes it stuffs the main pump too :-S...i was having tonnes of trouble with my MK2 when i got it....was missing and hard to start when it got hot, and it turned out to be the in tank pump :-S......now its alllllll good, cept for the air leak i cant seem to trace!!!!!!!!!!
            Cheers, Benny
