Which one of you guys here picked up that black 83 MKI GTI

hey guys, it was for sale on carsales and was sold last monday.

Faded black campaign edition MKI.....ran pretty nice was abit rough.

Just curious cause I went and saw it as well.

it would have went for around the $3K mark.

I've only ever seen around 2-3 original MKI gti imports listed for sale in aust.

it had orginal 121,000km on it still.

This one was in sydney and I went and saw it.

This one was a 1800cc campaign.

And no Kid (cyrus) didn't buy it.

No idea.

Story with it was some dude owned it and went back to UK and left it to his mum who left it under a tree for 2 years and the paint faded.

Hope it turns up on here one day.

There was a campaign in Melbourne a few years back with rego "UK GOLF". It was dark blue (?) Is that one still around. I saw it in '98.

I met the guy who bought the black Mk1 GTI the other day. His Name is Ian and he is a Golfer from way back, was telling me about doing laps of oran park in a previous golf.

He has found his way on here. Cant remember which login.
