  • My1977 4 door - 15 year project - almost done!

This is my 1977 4 door MK1 golf - originally silver - Bought it off the owner with a dead engine - was super straight and very rust free (including the wings and usual spots!!) pulled it apart, got the paint done, wheels, interior sorted and in to storage is went in 1999 as I work and travelled Australia. Fast forward to last year when I got a new heart transplanted in (2Ltr EFI) and now just finishing off all the little trims bits and pieces and fabrication of a dash panel to suit the MK3 cluster and switches..... Almost there!! lol - Keep an eye out as I might have to sell my baby due to unfortunate circumstances sooooooo close!!

        Wow, that's gorgeous!
Not quite the thing for quiet drives in the country though.
