    76 LS 2 door build

    Hey guys, i've recently picked up my second mk1 (we dont talk about the first) and its been fun cracking into it. its a 76 LS 2 door with two previous owners

    my plans are to have it as a crazy fast but still street legal and registered hill climb car.

    the good:
    clean chassis, no rust in the floor or normal places
    already has koni adjustable
    early type hood
    clean interior bar a ripped passenger seat
    straight chrome bumpers

    The bad:
    doors are rooted, bad rust in both of them
    dent in one of the arches which will be repaired soon
    engine is making death noises

    If anyone has a set of 2 door their willing to part with please send a message my way, because i need them real bad <3

      Well im keen...

      I had fixed half the broken crap but that just meant it was still halfway inoperable

            i've got two 2 door doors available, relatively straight, rust free, blue and in melbourne.

              I too have some dude, same colour as your car currently. Came of a 76 swallowtail actually. Never thought on parting with them, but if you need em and can't find any I'd be happy assist. In melb however, you're from Adelaide with sammy arnt ya?

                  Well hello guys, haven't had much time to work on the golf these last couple of weeks due to study but I've been accumulating parts!

                  Picked up new doors
                  Picked up some gti sway bars
                  Picked up a mono boss kit
                  Made a shift knob extension
                  Passenger seat arrives this week
                  And a 1.8 8v is on a stand in the shed

                  Also took all the interior out and removed all the sound deadener

                  So progress is slow but its happening, will update with pictures soon
