  • mk4 gti 1.8t agu to 76 mk1 gls

    Well here I go ,

I'm fairly new to the watercooled world .. being a aircooled fan , I bought my self a 2001 mk4 gti not to long ago that was hit rather hard in the rear end twisting the rear of the body so recently I've also purchased a very neat mk1 gls rolling shell very cheap , im planning on swapping the 1.8t agu , gearbox loom computer and seats ,

I already have the g60 brake upgrade with 280 mm discs A ebay g60 rear disc conversion with a will wood dual master cylinder booster delete .

I have a few question before I jump in the deep end :

    Firstly engine fitting....

1, I can I use the standard chassis mounts ? ?....Answered ... crazyquiff mounts ordered #1 down

    2, What size hubs should I use 90mm or 100mm ?

3, if I run the cable change box above the floor whats the best way to mount the cables through the floor ?
