  • Project silver bullet

It's been a little while but I couldn't resist on owning another mk1, I just had to have it, needs a little work but hey what mk1 doesn't.

The plan is to turn her into a nostalgia type street/racer. All the work will be done by me, from body to the engine build and I guess the tuning would be left to the experts.

Sorry guys having to battle with my stupid iPad just bare with me a little.

Some of the photos should be upright now. So no need to stand on your heads

this looks like a very nice project, how straight is the bodywork etc?
But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. People are like, "wonder what he does for living."
I just reply, "your daughter, sir." - some dude on stanceworks

I had fixed half the broken crap but that just meant it was still halfway inoperable

Body's pretty straight for a 36yo apart from a little bit of a side swipe on the drivers side. Must of had a re spray in the past as the clear is peeling off on the roof and bonnet. The motor is a 1.8 audi 80 job and box is the stock 4spd, but other than that it's standard with original wiring and labels/tags.

Euro Nostalgia style, but that can be driven on the street.

Started some beating this week on the silver bullet, the rear 1/4 panels have never been touched only the front apron looks like it's had a shunt or 6 in its life
