  • Need a diesel pump for a mk1 if anyone can help.

Sorry about the thread location, but I need a mk1 diesel pump in working order so I can get my car going again.

Alternatively can anyone repair (or recommend a place in Sydney) to get one o-ring replaced on the one I have?

Would happily pay $50-100 for a good second hand one if someone had one lying around they didn't need.

Reply here or via PM, help a brother out to get his rig going again.

    Thanks

Can you bring it up (the pump) to the Central coast on Saturday?

I can probably help you out.... i have seals and such. There are diesel places that can do this work, but I've never paid for it so I don't know what its worth or whether anyone really knows how to do it anymore.

    Where's it leaking from?

**EDIT** In my experience, every diesel pump thats been lying around for a while needs some new seals (at the very least )
