  • MK1 Pop out windows - are they worth it?

Found these on vortex the other day

    Link: https://www.facebook.com/Small.Bumpers?fref=ts

Sent them a message to find out a postage cost. This is from their message:
“the windows are being made in a factory atomotive temperd glasses in Mexico city,

the windows are tempered glass automotive,
All hardware is included in the coast.
the shipping coast until Tasmania is a little bit expensive $450 USD + the clear kit $530 USD”

Question is, are they worth it? I love them but postage kills it

I still paid more for my NOS Happich set. It really comes down to how much you want them, and if the car is an investment you're keeping.
I vote yes but. Pop out windows are the shiz!

$1000 for a pair of glass If you are building a Mk1 aim at winning a show car trophy, then go for it. Agree, it all depend on how do you want to spend your money, no one can give you a definite answer

Hmm...cheers for the replies. I really like the windows and want them but I dont think I can justify spending $1000 on them. Maybe I will just think about it for a while...I'm still undecided

I think its pretty good value really.

Try asking for postage to Syd or Melbourne. Might be much cheaper.

You're the only one that can answer that question?

Essentially, no, they're not worth it, cause mk 1's are barely worth a grand.

But if you want them, well you can justify anything.
