Hey guys, I been in the boat building game for a while and thought i might pull my finger out and do alittle sideline work at home. This post is more of a EOI Post before i start tooling up, If there is interest out there in Fiberglass reproduction of small bumpers and Large Duckbill ill start making them. All parts will be black straight out the molds, being gel coat very durable with options to carbon wrap or chrome wrap.
Also looking into bumper end caps to suit the bumpers or suit your current chrome bumpers. Reason for doing this is to give people the option if you don't want to shell out $1000 for chrome metal bumpers or genuine carbon.
Costing:
Fiberglass 2 piece large Duckbill Black $80, Wrapped in Carbon $100 +postage
Fiberglass small bumpers front or rear $150each black, wrapped in chrome or carbon $180 +postage (bumpers will be molded without holes through the center so no need for the rubber strip unless you want one for authentic looks i have made slim line rubber strips for my mk1.)
Picture of chrome wrapping. Everyone knows what carbon wrapping looks like.
