    Is there any possible way to remove the instrument cluster without removing the dashboard???
    MK1, 1976 golfLS, 4 door (SOLD! Will be missed)

    Yes just remove the trim around the dash pod ( some screws are hidden ) the whole thing will come out and the the instrument cluster is there for the taking

      Thanks for that buddy, I pulled out the CD player and there was one screw holding it in place and the rest was clipped in!
