  • The boss.

So I figured I should finally start another thread for my other baby i've been hiding..

-Image from the valentines day shoot my Girlfriend organised for me

Few people should have seen it around before, being previously owned by Dan (Gipson) and then Zache (Zllewyln).

I have some pretty simple but effective plans, as I want to keep the originality of the car. Anyone who's seen it will know how mint the interior is!

So far, i've added little more than custom plates and a Podi oil pressure gauge. The ATS Classics which where on the car have been taken off, and i'm currently rolling a set of ATS Pepperpots whilst I finish the new wheels.
Future plans involve a new dash, or re-trim of the current dash, wood grain Nardi steering wheel, VDO gauges (oil pressure and new clock), chrome bumpers (if anyone has a set let me know!), Ol' Skool Vulcan Werks shorty oil pan, 270 cam with HD springs. But most importantly, a complete bare metal respray in the original Saluki Brown Metallic. During the process, I will also be installing a set of Happich Pop-out Windows. ;D
A few other things will be tidied up along the way, but for the moment, they're the major plans!

Hope you all enjoy! Once I get home from work i'll add a heap of more photo's.

Thanks guys! The Saluki brown is a wonderful colour I love it!

As for wheel specs, from memory they started out as RS045s 15x6 ET38.
Should be sitting at 15x8 ET13 rear, 15x7.5 ET19 front. I will double check when I get back home though. 2.5" and 2" dish respectively!

So a proud proud moment for me this weekend. Went to the Southern Jam cruise/get-together and I took out lowest static car and was nominated for top 3 peoples choice!
Was so stoked and everyone was loving the Golf, put the ATS Classics back on and lowered it a bit more for the day, well worth it!

                        Some photo's from the day..

My trophy for lowest static ride.

First rest stop for the cruise.

The GOLFATHER and a two of the Subsided Minitruck & Customs boys at the local McDonalds, got a lot of looks and heaps of people taking photos of all three cars so that always good feelings!

& finally I went on a little cruise yesterday afternoon with a good mate, and local dubber because the weather was lovely. Also note the front lip is missing as it got torn off getting into the paddock that was the final meet/party point of the cruise for the night. How the hell I got in there, and out is a wonder haha, boggy, deep rutted black sand the entire way in. Glad I didn't put the big duckbill on after all! Front lip will be back on soon though.
