There was a guy in europe who built a one sixth (1 to 6) model of some old firrari race car. It took him 20,000 hours and it was the flat 12 cylninder. The engine ran and the car mad all the right noises, gearbox put drive to the rear wheels and you could select all the gears, shock, gauges everything. It all worked and was one sixth the size of the origional. Pretty cool eh? Or maybe not. Why spend 20,000 hours on a car that you cant drive? How many Lotus 7 replicas could the guy have made in that time? I want to drive my car, that is why it is such a shocker (a birds nest of scrappy wiring, half an Audi 80 dash, shoddy paint, bits off every MK1 that I see) coz I never take it off the road to properly fix anything. Its all legal, its just not neat, but I drive the thing every day and it give me a smile every time (unless something brakes which happens about once a week! )

          Tim.
