I'm trying to take off my passenger side door on my 76 3 door, but I cant get the bolts to budge! Sprayed WD40, got extra leverage, cursed and still nothing!! I'm starting to shear the bolts so Im not going any further with them by myself,

so any got any advice, and sure fire tricks to get my door off???

Use a heat gun (oxy works best) and heats the bolt heads up until really hot, then hit the bolts with a drift to help brake the threads grip and you should have more luck. Escpecialy if it has had loctight on it.

You've painted your car but wanna to remove the door

First do you have the right tool ? If yours are inhex bolt (I hate them !!) get something like this. I had the same problem when I removed my mk1 door, with this socket and a breaker bar, it broke the torque straight away.
btw i just took it as excuse to fill up my toolbox

Yeah, by far the best way. Changes your leverage point so the pivot is in the centre line of the bolt.

If you've shagged your bolt heads, drill the head off and buy some new ones. You can just get normal allen screws and face the head off a little on the lathe.. Or file them.. If you've got some spare time.

                Or use vise-grips on it.
