Leaky sensor advice please

Hi everyone,

I've got an oil leak at through the sensor shown in the picture below. It's situated on the right hand side of the cylinder head. I assume its an oil pressure sensor but need to confirm so I can get a new one and replace it?

Where is it leaking ,if its around the thread it just might need a tighten up if not some thread tape will help,

Seems to actually be coming through the sensor. Worked out that its the low pressure oil switch. Hopefully be able to get one from Frys in crows nest on Monday.

The oil sensor is cheap to buy from VW. Just unscrew, clean and take the part number with you.
There are a few different colours for various pressures.

eg. 1.8 bar is 056919081E
