Does any body have a picture of a GTI front Sway bar fitted up?

  • Does any body have a picture of a GTI front Sway bar fitted up?

    Just want to see how the attachment to the arms works.

    My car has diesel arms so I think there's drilling involved....

    If you've got a standard GTI front sway bar, you'll have to drill 4 holes (two in each arm) near the lower ball joint's for the retaining bracket's.

    The bar sit's on top of the lower control arm, not underneath like some of the aftermarket ones.

    I'd take a picture, but my gti isn't at home sorry.

      Thanks for the info, I thought that was the case but just wanted to make sure I was headed in the right direction.
