Is it just plastic? Is the metal white underneath. The plastic strip would be the same as on a Mk1 Diesel which just goes straight across. I have a couple here, which would give you a neater straight line. Did yours have us spec bumpers on when you got it?

ummm.... i think it is just plastic i really wanna get another one thats not sticking out like dogs balls just flush with the plate, yes it did have u.s spec bumpers whitch stuck out like half a metre, my dad changed them and put the later clipper cabrio side trims, it had those ugly yellow and red side reapers that my dad welded shut when we resprayed it, also i found out that it had the chrome trim around the grill but got lost in the garage somewhere lol

ne ways here are the front pics endlessmk1
i thought u wanted a closer look at the rear lights
SORRY BUT THE CAR WAS DIRTY IN THIS PIC BELOW

              NOW THIS ONE IS CLEAN

NOTICE THE PIC ABOVE WHAT POSSUMS CAN DO TO YOUR FRONT SPOILER AT 160KPH I HAD TO GLUE IT BACK TOGETHER (looking for another one!!)

I'm not a fan of the red on the GTI grills. Its another colour that detracts from the dust brake grey that I am trying to cultivate over the whole car by years of nonwashing. Its hard work but the end result is truly worth it!

I think the red looks awesome and really sets off the whole front of the car.
