GLD Temperature Gauge Erratic

Hi All

Last week my temperature gauge started to move off centre when warm and drifted anywhere between 1/4 to 1/2 and anywhere in between. First time I have seen this.

Any ideas what to look at first? Sender, wiring, other??

Was always sitting 1/2 to just over for a long time when warmed up previously

most likely a loose connector on the sender

Temperature gauge works again properly after not using the car for 3 weeks in December
