KW V1's or Weitec Hicon GT's??

i know this topic has been talk about numerous times...
but i know there are some guys on here with one or the other, so im asking them directly.

V1 basic's or Hicon GT's??
i've heard the weitecs are a little softer than V1's, and a few minor differences but essentially the same shock, built in the same factory.

who has what?
has anyone actually compared the two?
which would be better for everyday use?
