I have just bought myself a set of these in black, and the centre cap has BBS on it.

I'd also be very keen to hear the history behind the vw/bwa centre caps. I assume that they are VERY collectable - nice

The wheels are 13x7, and tyres are 205/60-13 and look great! Not sure how well they will handle though. Isn't there something about tyres that are too wide for the wheel linked with poor handling?

Ontarv, what size tyres are on yours? They look great on your Mk1.

The wheels are not on the car yet as the little beastie needs to be lowered to do them any justice. Hopefully this will happen early next year (if the boss will release the funds )

Nice now i know what they look like in black, they 13x7 hmm im pretty sure mine are only 6"

JP i've got 205/60/13
no probs with grip , comes down to price
got bridgestone g3's on front great grip
hankooks on rear good but $20 difference in price
you get what you pay for
