Just wondering if anyone has any photos of a mk1 cabrio at its lowest on coil overs, not 100% sure if they can get me as low as i want!

It really depends on what coilovers you're planning on using too bro. Each brand will get you different ride/handling/low.

This is true, well i was gonna go with cheapies tbh! I've been hearing about race lad, and JOM or some****...

they say it lowers it 3 inches below standard.. which doesn't sound like much.. might just cut them but was curious

JOM's and hot tuning's go lower than you'll actually need (ie sump so close to the ground you can't drive). More than a few of us have tried believe me. Cutting coilovers is just plain stupid. You can go lower by taking out the helper springs.

they are cheap and cheerful and go proper low, but don't for a minute expect good ride quality on the mk1 model Hot Tunings
