I have seen a set of wheels that would match the PCD of the Cab i am buying.

They are 16x7 size dont know the off set but can someone tell me what will fit?

Also what size tyres should go on them to keep the speedo accurate?

    Thanks for any help.

et28 - no idea on tyres as I only ever have run 15" on my MK1s.

you can get 195/45/16. They would be OK, but 16's look huge on a mk1. Good luck though!

I once ran 16x7.5 et35 on a mk1. It looked a bit silly, and the rear was prone to rub.

I think you can get 195/40/16. These might be better for fitment but will be very stiff coupled with low suspension.

Ive always ran 16x7s on my mk1s offset +40 or +35 will be fine without rolled guards fits under standard struts fine. with coil overs for need to run a 5 mm spacer if the offset is +40. as for tires i currently run 195/40 i used to run 205/40 with no problems.

Hope these meet with your approval

Obviously they would get a new shiny coat of paint.

Im running 16"x7" with an offset of 45 and 195x45xr16 needed 10mm spacers on the front to stop rubbing on the brake caliper but fitted fine on the back! Ad for speedo accuracy once i get the head rebuilt an running again i'll GPS speed check her on my phone! "you'll probably have them on your car by then but"
