New Wheels. Anyone stretch tyres and recommend best to suit

7 x 15 and want to fit tyres but looking to stretch. Anyone know a good size to go with these wheels standard are 195/50



Also anyone ever seen this set up ??? how is the pod connected to the carby??

For the tyres. I dont know how you would stretch tyres on a 7", unless you got a bicycle tyre lol. It would also look silly IMO as it would look so damn thin, that your car will look like a toy. I reckon just find a set of 195/45 low profile tyres and that would nice.

As for the pod, theres a connector bit, um i havnt actually found one locally, but to give you an idea - google search autostyle.co.za and have a look at the mk1 section, they have some pics of their products. They might even to ship to aus. Hope this helps

smallest tyre for a 15 i know of is a 165/50/15 in a Nankang

you can get a 165/50, but I dont recommend that unless you actually need it!

What offset are the wheels?

Also what height are you planning on riding at?

the wheels in my sig pic are 15x7 with a 185/45

185/45/15 is perfetc on a Mk1.

If you want a phat look try a 195/50/15.

Et38. I got spax adjustables and koni springs . Thinking about coils. Also got some dellortos dhla 40s but searching for a manifold. So currently sitting lower than standard but want to go lower.

Hey man I have those exact wheels with some falken165/45s stretched over them
Looked great with out being too over the top
