  • Nice paint work dom, now polish the rest of the manifold. Wire wheel and a drill gets em pretty good.

    Those wheels look freaking awesome!@

    • lol cheers bud i cant stop looking at them and trying diffrent angles to look at them hahahah

      as for the mani... thats the only bit thats gonna be polished... the rocker is gonna be gloss black but they lines will be polished, the mani... gloss black.... the writing will be vw motorsport blue and the plate will be polished like so

      cant wait to drop the engine and box in ohhh yeahh!!!!

        • i have a custom exhaust on my mk1 already im just gonna use that at the down pipe.... got a 2.5 inch exhaust.. highflow cat and 1 muffler out to a side draft tip

                    whats gonna happen is im not shaving the boot lock... but badges are going and being replaced with vw GTI 20th anneversary Rabbit badge emblem (ebay search it) and a brand new cabrio chrome badge on the passenger side

                    or something with 16v innnit... not sure yet

                    any ideas??

                        • you should get a mk 3 (i think) red "16V" badge and put it "somewhere"

                          maybe where the "cabrio" is. cause everyone knows its a cab, but not a 16V cab...hmm??

                              i alway thought about putting one of the 16v badges on mine...but i like keeping it the "sleeper" look

                              • did you compleltey debadge your tailgaite tho velly? I too like the debadged look, as i've done on mine, I've only kept the boot lock, but if i was having badges, i'd have a 16V badge for sure.
