Just wondering if anyone has ever painted a set of mk1 steelies black before? anyone got and pics and/or thoughts? just something I thought of the other day, widened steelies with polished lip and satin black centre?
anyone think this would work??

Im doin my original MKI steelies black, but i also have the original chrome centre caps.
Polished steel never looks as good as alloy, but if ya do polish them, mask them up, etch and base coat them, then unmask and clear the whole lot with an 'Epoxy' clear.
Epoxy clears set very hard, ideal for wheels.
