A few of you fellow pommys probably remember this show! My old man got me onto this link when I told him I was buying a mk1.

Have a look, only about half an hours worth, but its ace to see a nice white one!

I was watching an episode on Tuesday with the Fiat 500 and wondering if they ever did a MK1. This is so sick! Thanks for the link.

no worries! ahh ill scope that out! my mrs loves the 500, she had me out shopping for one today, some lovely little Abarths in Brisbane, then the dealer showed me this little monster tucked away in the corner...

        Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari

        HOLY ****!

When he turned it on I nearly wet myself. I have never heard such a beautiful sound coming from a 1.4 in my life and I owned a 6r polo gti. $79,000 though!! You'd have to be bonkers.

              hahah to right Peter.

Bit of an odd show. Sometimes (in the earlier series atleast) they were making a couple hundred quid. I lol'd.

                  Oh the stripe!! nightmare!

Yeah they make 100 quid and that irritating Mike Brewer fella rubs his hands together and gets a little chub-on!

Edd China though, tallest and most affable mechanic I've ever seen.

It is a good show but they never make any real money on the cars.

Watched that fiat 500 episode today, they only made 800 quid and they drove a car back from italy, put a new engine in it and resprayed it, all that time and effort for 800 quid between two people seems daft. Still awesome tv though, beats Australias Fattest Loser hands down.

Found this too to on utube for that tributo ferarri thing...

I pretty much watch this show daily.

You can blame foxtel for that haha.

Favourites include the Fiat 500 ep, Beetle/dune buggy, Golf GTI, Lotus Esprit, Triumph Stag.

And yeah, Ed's far more entertaining and appealing than Mike, but then again I think that's what they're trying to get at.
