Well as the title suggests, I'm looking for a MK1. Does anyone know of any for sale, either private or dealer?
Really would like to get behind the wheel of one of these beasts

There was one for sale until today. I just bought her. Hope you end up getting one and we can do some cruises?

Just out of curiosity, Didn't have your heart set on a yellow one in trott park advertised on gumtree for $850 did you?

Yeah that was the one mate. Is it a 2 or 4 door? Yeah the cruises sound good. Hopefully I can find one soon, would be awesome.

Sorry a heap mate. Fell in love the moment I saw it. 4 door. (5 if you count the hatch door) It needs a bit of work but overall its very tidy. Very happy with my purchase. I felt so horrible because the guy called people he had coming over soon afterwards with me still there to tell them it had been sold. Sucks it had to be today that I bought it as I have to wait until at least monday to register and bring her home... Oh well, something to look forward to. Best of luck with your search.

Any complete Mk1 in drivable condition under $1k is a good start, I can't tell from the pics but being a '74 it might be a swallowtail as well.

Of course, I might be willing to part with my GLD given the right offer, but I have a few things I want to do with her first! The condition of the body of my GLD looks about the same as the one in that ad...
