First pic is a bad link mate, I can't fix it.

Good news on the action. Happy to know there is an engine crane close by to me now!

what are the specs on the wheels? Should look the part. If the wheels are flatback would be easy enough to get them redrilled, or adapters if the offset permits

Put a old 12mm socket on a extension, and bash it over the bolt (if your meaning the 6 bolts that attach driveshaft to gearbox)
Ive got a few out like this,

I think the hot tip is you should use a spline drive not a allen key to begin with

yeh track down a spline tool, if you've used a hex they are still salvageable. Tap the spline in with a hammer and remove bolt as normal, worked for me.

ive decided to get the car painted professionally.
this will happen in the next month or so depending on how hectic my saving gets.
anyone got any ideas for paint?
                        im thinking midnight blue.

mate, use a set of vice grips, they come out no worries, I always use the grips to crack em then use the sockets

Whatever you go with, make sure you consider wheel colour at the same time
