  • Fusebox Upgrade

Hey guys, as we all know mk1 fuseboxs are horrible and very unreliable, well atleast i think so from personal experience. I am going to be re-wiring my car, and making a new wire loom for the most part. I know this is going to be a long and windy road, but i want it to be new and reliable, so i thought while im at it, i would use a newer fusebox.

My question is, what fusebox would be the best to use, (most common), and that has easily accesable wiring diagrams so i can have all the help i need when re-wiring. Im sure many people will say mk3 fusebox's, however i just wanted to be certified.

    Thanks, George

an EZ wiring kit would be awesome, and you can custom make it to your needs, but its also around the $300 mark. and youll need to have all the original plugs to reuse.

Its what i reckon i will do eventually.

Haha, neeh, i wanted to keep it original vw to a point. I was thinking, what about mk2 gti, or perhaps mk1 convertible? They came out with the blade fuses i beleive, and had simple/basic electrics
