The wiring in my project is totally shot,
i swear its 3 different looms from 3 different cars!!!

Just wondering if a later model harness can be adapted into the golf?
Something like a MK2 harness with the blade type fuse, Or would it be worth while going a Universal harness like the Ez wiring setup. ?? Wiring Harness

    Input welcome.

I'd think mk2 loom should be an easy conversion.

When I pulled my mk2 loom out of the green car there were probably a handful of connectors that had been soldered and everything else was original and mated up.

        awesome,
might look into a mk2 loom, possibly a mk2 dash and all the switches and cluster.
