does anyone know if 13''x8'' rims with 175-75 R13 tyres on would fit under standered arches?

The tyres will fit on the rims, it will be a good stretch, but due to the high profile, it wont look that stretched. Also, i think it matters more the ET of the rims, whether the tyres will fit or not mate. However running stretch, im almost certain you wont have dramas with fitting the wheels/tyres under the arches.

Maybe a tiny roll of guards

        Early US-built Cabby? Looks shiny!

EDIT: not US built but US registered at some stage i guess.

Arrr! i see, Its my first VW so i'm still figuring all these little things out. Really need to take it to someone who has had a few of them so they can tell me about the engine and if..... "what" there is that needs fixing lol! On the original buyers receipt it says air-con as an added extra but i have no idea where to look for it?
