just thought i would mention ..... i got a 2y gearbox fitted to my 16v , sh## the ratio is damn short , 5th gear is sitting on around 4500rpm on 100 to 110 klm/p when driving hard as i have a short shifter in it as well the revs stay on top into the next gear and then boooom ... rapid short shifts make my mk1 hoot........ ahhh im lovin my car more and more....
