  • Mk1 owners we NEED your info!

    Hey guys,

    We are compiling a list of mk1's throughout Australia and their known details.
    Anyway, we need info relating to Mk1's around AUS, please if you have info to share about your/others current/past car(s) please do not hesitate in providing me with the info.

    The list as it currently stands can be found on the CBRVWOC wiki: http://wiki.cbrvwoc.org/index.php/Main_Page

    Thanks guys and info you can provide would be very very appreciated!

    Aaron.

    Details page: Australian Mk1's

    Adding to the wiki:

    Once you get the hang of it, it's quite simple.
    Basically you will notice each "cell" is separated with a pipe character "|"
    And each row is separated with a pipe and hyphen "|-"

    You can enter edit mode by selecting "edit" at the top right of the page. (In between, "view" and "view history")

    To add your, data scroll right to the bottom of the page (while editing) and create a new blank line, just above the final "|}", which denotes the end of the table itself.
    You will see something like this:

    |Delivered to Singapore, Imported to Aus 2006.
    |}

    Insert your new line, like this:

    |Delivered to Singapore, Imported to Aus 2006.
    <--- HERE --->
    |}

    In the new line start a new row, like this:

    |Delivered to Singapore, Imported to Aus 2006.
    |-
    |}

    Then add your data, like this:

    |Delivered to Singapore, Imported to Aus 2006.
    |-
    |QLD
    |1981
    |GLD
    |4dr
    |Yellow
    |Paul
    |Maleny
    |644IYC
    |1793569603
    |Project (2011)
    |
    |Bought Brisbane 6/10/2007
    |}

    Just remember to keep it short and simple, and note every pipe character "|" (at the beginning of a new line), denote a new field in the table.

    IF YOU CANNOT WORK OUT THE WIKI, PLEASE PLACE YOUR INFO HERE, OR SIMPLY IN THIS THREAD

    Why not make a mk1 wiki where we can all put up all we know about mk1 golfs so all can benefit from it?

      Thats actually not a bad idea at all!

      The only problem with a wiki is keeping it ordered...

      I will see what I can do.

                    I have started a table now, it's fairly easy to use, I have demonstrated how to put an image in too.

                    If you can't work out how to do it, just throw up the details here.

                    Cheers,

                              I think registration and VIN on the same public page is a bit of a concern to be honest but if people are comfortable with that then no stress.
