G'day, The Mk1 has rego and apparantly my workmanship was up to standard - although the true test will come over the coming weeks as the thing gets driven!

I have the new wheels on it now (Simmons FR17's 16 X 7.5) and they appear to sit well Some tighter shocks are needed though.

    The problems...

The clutch is not slipping and there is no real grunching however it feels like it is engaging too close to the floor. Any thoughts on how I can adjust this?

The other issue I have is the break lights are being unreliable. Does anyone know if these is a pedal switch that tells them when to go on and off? or is it a switch on the booster?

Big thanks to Mr Loon and Tassie for the parts and advice. Plus all you guys who steered me in the right direction.
    Cheers!!

    Well done Lucas
There is a threaded ajustment on the gearbox end of the clutch cable.
Sometimes they will need a spacer when you run out of adjustment.
With the brake lights could be
    dirty fuse
    bad earth on globes
    switch on master cylinder
