      By the way, dude.. If possible, put the front up on stands as high as you can (if you don't have a hoist) and drop the engine out the bottom. Much easier.

                4 screws in the plenum chamber and the heater box drops out dude.

                      It should drop down once you remove the screws from what I remember. The plenum in the engine bay I mean.

                            I think I've seen this golf around a few times over the years. I think the carby may have come from me at some stage as I sold one to a previous owner (77mk1) last year.
