Mk1 16v radiater?

Hi guys, what is the best radiater to use on an mk1 16v with webers?
The standard one doesnt fit. Ive seen on a lot of pics where guys use small radiaters, what cars do they come off and do you think it will supply sufficient cooling considering i live in Botswana!

Sorry cant help but I'm about to need an answer to the same question!

Have you considered installing your radiator off to the side to feed your webers cool air? May need an even more irregular radiator.

How about a mk1 passat radiator? They are designed to go off to the side and for a larger, heavier car.

When I get my car back i'm having a custom one made..

Other than that, I hear '00 Civic ones work alright..

I've seen a few with Honda Civic radiators in them but I couldnt tell you what model they came out of. But they are the right shape and size to fit off to one side and get your carbs in.
