  • MK1 Jetta

Just bought a Mk1 Jetta which I have owned 2 times before.
How many of these are around.I wonder ?
It would be interesting to know.
This one is Sth African, an 81 model original motor size unknown but has a 020 box but retro fitted with a Ausie 1600.

What should I do with it ?

    Depends....

If it's restorable...Restore it! Don't let it end up at the crusher's. I'm sure somebody on this board will give it a good home if you don't intend to keep it (this time!) Didn't even know there were any Jettas in Tassie. What's its history?

Therre was a 4 door SA model in CAnberra with a SA built EV K-jet moter in it.... Had a Zender bootlid. I think it is being prepped for rally now...
