Mk 1 rubbing sound on right hand turns

The sound could also be coming from the steering column trim rubbing on the base of the wheel, Mike.

I should check the column bearing too I spose...

check the wheel bearing while your down there.

jack the front up, grab the wheel and try to wiggle it on the hub. There shouldn't be any play.

The brake hose seems to be in the right location, I'll have to check the right hand full lock and wheel bearing this weekend
