Another Mk1 Cabrio bites the dust

The old girl gotsandwiched this morning on our way to the train. Based on initial assessment it seems she will be a write off.

The guys at the smash repair all came out and were saddened to see a classic in such good condition so badly hurt. pics below :s

here's the kicker, got tail ended by a new Passat coupe, whihc then pushed me into an late model Passat Wagon. It was a VW fest on Banksia Street.

The three of us couldn't but laugh at the irony that three VW's caused so much mayhem.

it's in the hands of the insurer. They have offered to sell it as a salvage wreck, but I dont have the time to rebuild it. Besides it got hit pretty hard and the rear floor has crumpled, boot wont open. A sad day indeed!
