  • What size wheel bearing?

Ive got mk1 vented GTI brakes and hub assembly on my GLS and i need to replace the wheel bearing but I dunno what size it is.

From what i can tell the options are 64mm OD or 68mm OD.

And does anyone know the best place to get a good wheel bearing kit?

have you pulled the old bearing out?? it will have a part number on the side or just take it into the shop and they will work it out for you. where abouts are you? ive gotten all my bearings from Consolidated bearings company (CBC) there all over aus. i did mine i few months ago and they had them on the shelf.

      64mm.

Most bearing places or brake shops will be able to get them, it's the same size as a Daewoo one, DW100 might be the part number.

Even Repco or Bursons should be able to order one in.
