My theory is... If you want something to fit, and you really want it. You can MAKE it work.
I ran a set of 15 x 7s on my MK1 for a bit, admit it was lowered a fair bit but wasn't fully slammed, but it worked well enough.
I'm going to the pub... I may be some time...

            This!
I like my wheels heaps, so I made them fit. Bit of a **** around but I like the results.

OP - no reason not to machine out the hub bore of the spacers to fit the mk1 hubs. The bore needs to be 57.1mm. Don't forget about the chamfer.

Also, no real reason not to try out your stockies - heck, its all a lot of fun anyway (right guys?)

Personally, i would steer away from using spacers if you can manage it because it just gets complicated with longer bolts and legalities. I do think that you'de be far less likely to be picked up for having stockies with spacers than big wide wheels though, since stockeis are 5.5" wide and massive offset anyway.

And those results are hot Jace. Love your wheels!

I've never had spacers or adapters - but enquired for the skyline, got a big fat NO YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM from the insurance company
