Just wondering if this a fairly common part?

Goes between handbrake and gearstick, its rubberish. was under the carpet and underlay.

Yep, just stops the carpet sagging, that's all.

My underlay was moldy and water logged, found that when i pulled it all out (about 30kg worth :O )
