found some old stock Armor plates on vwvortex, I don't know if they'd really put a carjacker off that much but I really like them on mk1's



(still searching for a Drivers door trim if anyone has one sitting about they'd like to sell)

will be splitting my bbs this weekend and making a start on getting those together

Wouldn't mind having a closer look at this and going for a cruise (I need an excuse to get the golf out of the shed heh heh heh) We should go for a cruise up too my farm mate, i reckon i may have that front door outer trim your looking for. cheers man will definitely be keen on a cruise once I'm certain the engine will make it haha! have been using it as a daily for the last week or so and it's been running pretty well so it should be all good, there's a few other cool bits a new golfball gearknob and lower lip spoiler are on their way over and there's a few different things going on with the wheels, think I missed out on the H&R coilovers I had my eye on so will have to find another set of those now

Hi Vonpickles there are a few old golf enthusiasts in Perth that have parts stashed away, what parts were you looking for? for sorting out the mechanical side of things Joe at Golfwagen is very helpful and a talented mechanic from what I've heard. where are you located?

oh yeah that's not too far mate I've got some spare carby's, fuel pumps etc if you want to spend a day sometime tinkering about getting it running. even have a spare 1600 here if worst comes to worst! let me know if you want me to drop in one day
