  • Badgeless grill, stock look?

Would anybody be able to help me find a badgeless grille that has the original look, as in the original amount of 'louvers' UNLIKE this.

Sorry if my search missed something really obvious..

    Cheers

You can't get a standard single headlight grill that is badge less to my knowledge, when you take the badge out you are left with a hole most guys paint there VW badge black to achieve the badge less look.

On the other hand you can go for a standard twin headlight grill mostly genuine gti and some cabriolets only have 2 little tags that hold the badge on rather than a huge hole, all you do it cut the tags off and sand with 1000grit same paper looks like new.

      I could make one.
De-badging is like castration in my books, but i'd do it for someone else.

haha well how would you go about making one? would you adapt the old one or fabricate from scratch?

I have a photo of one but it only loads to just above the grille. damn it. see if it works for you..

            cheers guys

I'd just cut out the badge bit and glue in new bits. It'd be quite easy I think, get a hold of a spare grill and have a go yourself.
