hi there its no secret to what i paid as i think there was a thread on this car when on carsales,it was up for 4k i bid 3k and met in the middle,it has 198,000 on the odometer but it doesnt seem to be working so its anyones guess till the service book arrives this week.

well it's been a few months since i have posted an update thats because nothing much has happened due to work and moving house,but two days ago another mk1 joined the growing population of WA's roads as finally i got it licensed,i say i when actually Golfwagen Ben in particular managed to get it over the pits ,i am not sure what favours Ben had to do to get the job done or how painfull it was and breaking down 17 times due to fuel lines getting clogged on the way there.Well done BenIt got some new Hottuning coilovers and some re drilled bbs which i picked up cheap, and a new chrome gear nob to replace the dice one,and some new bumpers and rear lights.Took a couple of pics today.

yeah the interior is pretty schmick just one small bit of bolster wear and the parcel shelf has buckled,the bottom end is knocking so i think i might track down a donor car over the coming months for a 2.0 8v mk3 lump for when it gives up the ghost,also i am looking to get full re spray in the same colour with new window rubbers etc... but thats over the next year or so funds depending
